A Letter From Georgia
To Whom That is Reading This,

My whole purpose on earth is to bring forth this vision I've had in my head and heart for almost 25 years now. A sanctuary, a dynamic space where women who have been through America's justice system can gather to rediscover fulfillment and emerge feeling renewed. I want women coming from incarceration or on probation to have access to the support and resources essential for life's journey.
HOW Georgia? (in my Kanye voice)

By giving the 'gift' of advancement through knowledge. A village designed in mind of them. I want to change the lives of women by offering a wide range of services and programs tailored to address their unique challenges and needs. I will boost women confidence by ensuring they will have the resources needed to look and feel their best.

I am working to make my vision a reality, and I need help. If God blessed me with all I need, where would I house it, how would I pick it up, and who would help me manage it? I am seeking donors and grants to guide me on this path. With the right support, this Outreach Complex can make a significant impact in the Atlanta and the surrounding areas. I am eager to connect with potential supporters, please reach out to me for more information and I greatly appreciate any assistance in achieving this goal.

Sincerely,
LaGeorgia Hood

The Goal
Within the next 3 years, P.L.O.W. will proudly establish its "OUTREACH COMPLEX". This exciting development will house an Education & Career center, Health & Wellness center, Community garden, Creative arts space, Culinary center, and our Wardrobe center. Our facility will be a supportive haven for women transitioning back into society after incarceration or navigating the challenges of probation or parole. We aim to promote healing, break down barriers, and facilitate successful reentry into society.
